Cloth Colour and the Interior

Cloth colour should be considered alongside the timber, the metal finishes and the wider palette of the room. A cloth that complements the surrounding interior will make the table feel as though it belongs, while a cloth chosen in isolation can make even a beautifully made table read as an intruder.

  • The colour of flooring, fabrics and painted surfaces
  • The natural and artificial light in the room
  • Whether the table is intended to stand out or sit quietly within the interior

Playing Performance
