Traditional Bar Billiards Gameplay
Bar billiards is a game of skill and subtlety, played with cues and balls across a playing surface set with scoring holes and skittles. It rewards touch, accuracy and judgement rather than power.
Precision Playing Surface
The playing surface is carefully levelled and dressed in Hainsworth heritage cloth. The surface is engineered to hold its accuracy, because the game is only as good as the flatness beneath the cloth.
Hainsworth Cloth
Hainsworth wool cloth, woven in Britain, is stretched and dressed to a consistent tension with the nap set correctly. The cloth rolls true and is available in colourways selected to complement the furniture and surrounding interior.
Integrated Ball Return
The ball return is built into the cabinet, quiet in operation and finished as one with the furniture. The mechanism is engineered to be reliable over the life of the table and is concealed within the frame, so nothing visible betrays the thought that has gone into it.
Scoring System
Scoring is set out in the traditional manner, with the layout and detailing resolved to suit either a classic or a contemporary commission. The scoring is part of the furniture, painted or inlaid by hand rather than printed, and tailored to the room it will inhabit.
Professional Installation
Our own team installs each table, levelling the playing surface and dressing the cloth on site, so the table plays true from the first game. Because installation is carried out by the workshop, the same hands that make the table set it up in your room.
